This course is offered to qualified primary health care providers, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and occupational therapists

 

Course objectives are to discuss:

Scoliosis in anatomical terms

Developmental motor patterns from the first year of life to outline normal postural development.

Special focus on sagittal stabilisation development in achieving optimal posture in the child/adolescent/adult patient.

Outline common disturbances of sagittal stabilisation in children, adolescents, adults and athletes.

DNS tests for ISSS to assess patients with scoliosis and asymmetry.

Basic corrective exercise for individuals with scoliosis based on DNS principles with focus on breathing stereotype and IAP distribution.

Clapp crawling.

Corrective exercises based on the DNS functional tests and developmental positions.

Training body awareness.

Hands-on workshop of active exercises for body asymmetry and scoliosis.

DNS corrective exercises can be integrated into other exercise strategies.

Videos of patients and demonstrations.

Prague School registration fee helps

to support DNS scientific activities,

to collect new video/photo material,

to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities,

to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and

to present the DNS concept online.

It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.

The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.

Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
