Objectives
This course will review and deepen knowledge of developmental kinesiology, with an emphasis on clinical functional assessment and functional therapy for patient’s movement system disorders. Throughout the course, strategies for more effective assessment with a patient diagnosed with a musculoskeletal condition will be demonstrated and/or a video analysis will be performed. Interesting case studies will be presented and discussed.
During the course, participants will acquire the following knowledge and skills:
Identification of specific targets in different DNS assessments according to regions of the body.
Practical training of assessment selection, conclusion making process, clinical reasoning.
Application of assessment and therapy based on the DNS concept in the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal diagnoses.
Case Studies and Video Analysis – identification of key “weak” areas based on the evaluation of global patterns and movement analysis; proposal of therapy using developmental positions, integrated with other techniques or concepts applied in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal patients.

Prague School registration fee helps to support DNS scientific activities, to collect new video/photo material, to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities, to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and to present the DNS concept online. |
It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.
The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.
Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
