Course Description
Infant Torticollis: Comprehensive Evaluation, DNS Intervention, and Potential Long-Term Outcomes. A one-day professional seminar introducing the DNS approach to this clinical topic.
Comprehensive understanding of muscular torticollis – one of the most common motor abnormalities in infancy, including its causes, clinical presentation, and developmental consequences.
Diagnostic approach – differentiation of muscular torticollis from other etiologies, assessment of cranial asymmetries, and identification of risk factors that may influence motor development.
Treatment strategies – correction techniques, handling, positioning, and parental education to support daily home care.
Prevention and management of cranial asymmetries – practical strategies to reduce positional plagiocephaly and optimize symmetrical motor development.
Integration of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) – application of DNS principles to evaluate motor maturation and support targeted neuromuscular interventions.
DNS-based therapeutic framework – promoting postural control, neuromuscular balance, and early motor symmetry. Treatment in toddlers and older children.
Case studies and clinical scenarios – real examples that demonstrate treatment progressions and provide actionable insights for immediate use in clinical practice.
Hands-on practice – guided sessions that strengthen assessment skills and improve therapeutic confidence.
