Course Objectives:
Basic Anatomy Overview: Examination of the muscular chains associated with intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) regulators and the spine's linear and spiral movements.
Interactions of Kinetic Muscular Chains: Evaluation of the various kinetic muscular chains in DNS flow of global movement patterns. This will aid in selecting the appropriate emphasis for addressing pain in the lower limb, lower back, upper back, and neck.
Utilizing DNS for Optimal Movement Efficiency: Combination of movement and manual guidance to prepare the following areas as we integrate global patterns:
Foot: Toe threading, tripod/standing push-off
Hip: Counter rotation of hip and head with arm differentiation, side-lying posterior reach
Thoracic Spine: Uprighting, segmental movement in the mid-thoracic spine
Integrating Breathing Exercises: Exercises for stabilization of the chest and pelvis.
Review of Sagittal Stabilization - Workshopping
Developmental Sequence:
Individual active exercises/developmental positions (prone and supine)
Focus on the quality of transitions during the sequencing of different positions.
DNS Movement Sequence
Starting from the "Ipsilateral" position - supine
Starting from the "Contralateral" position - prone
Transitioning through each position individually and then through the whole sequence

Prague School registration fee helps to support DNS scientific activities, to collect new video/photo material, to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities, to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and to present the DNS concept online. |
It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.
The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.
Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
