Course Objectives:
Application of DNS concept and principles of developmental kinesiology for exercises on Pilates equipment.
Training of body awareness, movement coordination and control and improvement of range of motion.
Focusing on optimal movement parameters like functional joint centration through full range of motion, trunk stabilization, biomechanics of stepping forward and supporting function.
Identification of the functional threshold.
Use of Pilates machines for proper motor learning of global movement patterns: contralateral, ipsilateral, undifferentiated.
Movement of spine into flexion, extension, lateral flexion and rotation.
Choosing the right device and exercise to influence stability/mobility of specific body segments.
Resistance settings and device selection for exercise modification, progression /regression.
Prague School Registration Fee
Pilates teachers, exercise practitioners and clinicians who took DNS course A or DNS Exercise I course.

Prague School registration fee helps to support DNS scientific activities, to collect new video/photo material, to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities, to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and to present the DNS concept online. |
It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.
The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.
Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
