Additional Yoga Specific Course Objectives:

 

Review of all the basic principles of physiological movement patterns during static and dynamic yoga positions.

Foot mobilisations in supportiing function. Isolated movement patterns of the hip in unloaded positions

Flow Class. Isolated movement patterns of the hip in loaded positions. Rehabilitation Applications.

Transitions  in yoga asanas, linking developmental ontogenisis for hip mobility and stability.

Pranayama. Role of the lower abdominal wall in Pranayama. 

Movement patterns of hip joint in undifferentiated and differentiated seated positions.

Muscle pulls relating to actions of the hip.

Isolated Hip Extension in yoga asanas.

Flow Class – review of movement patterns of the hip for mobility and stability .

Rehabilitative perspective of Pranayama.

OPTIONAL TEST

Please note this test is optional – you need not take this test to take other DNS courses. Students who would like to participate in the educational track towards becoming a DNS Certified Exercise Trainers can take this test for an additional fee. After completing a payment you will receive an email confirmation after your eligibility has been verified. This email will contain all necessary instructions to start the online test. We suggest to take the test within 8 weeks of completing the course. Upon successful completion and passing of the test, a Certificate of Achievement will be awarded by Prague School of Rehabilitation and after the Exercise course Part III the final exam can be taken.
