Course objectives - DNS approach to:
Review of basic DNS principles, anatomy of pelvic floor organs and kinesiology of pelvic floor.
Specific group exercise for patients with PF dysfunction.
Physiological changes and physical activity during pregnancy from a Physiotherapist's view.
Treatment protocol of postural locomotion system during pregnancy.
Preparation for labor and prevention of birth trauma - role of physiotherapy.
Postpartum treatment protocol and adequate physical activity.
Pelvic floor activation and integration.
Management of pelvic instability, additional external supports and active exercises.
Scar management. Soft tissue, “active scar” treatment using barrier phenomenon according to Lewit.
Diastasis recti treatment: manual techniques, taping and specific corrective exercises.
Self treatment techniques for pelvic region.

Prague School registration fee helps to support DNS scientific activities, to collect new video/photo material, to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities, to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and to present the DNS concept online. |
It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.
The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.
Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
