Objectives:


1. Basic principles of developmental kinesiology, with an emphasis on development during the first year of life 
2. Ontogenesis and kinesiology of the pelvis and pelvic floor (PF)
3. The relationship between dysfunctional development during the first years of life and pathology of the movement system in adulthood.
4. Relationship between developmental disturbances of the human movement system and PF dysfunction
5. Assessment of the integrated stabilising system (ISSS) of the spine utilising dynamic functional tests, with attention to woman’s health and PF conditions
6. Core stability and PF dysfunctions including; diastases rectus, prolapse, incontinence, constipation, specific and non specific pelvic pain, functional sterility, dysmenorrhoea 
7. Physiology and management of hyper and hypo - tonic PF conditions
8. Approach to pelvic floor dysfunction in fitness, including the pelvic girdle/pelvic floor under load
9. Physiological changes during pregnancy and how these changes affect the ability to exercise during and after pregnancy
10. Common pregnancy issues e.g. Pelvic Girdle & low back pain, pregnancy induced hypermobility. Postural suggestions for pre/post natal women
11. Corrective exercises and modifications for pre/post natal woman and general pelvic floor conditions, based on DNS functional tests and developmental positions 
12. Group exercise for pre/post natal woman in all trimesters (DNS flow) 
13. Self-treatment techniques for pelvic region
14. Soft tissue & visceral techniques, “active scar” treatment using barrier phenomenon according to Lewit - clinicians only
15. DNS based mobilisation for lumbar spine and Lewit’s mobilization and relaxation techniques - clinicians only

PS Registration Fee: 80 EUR

Prague School registration fee helps

to support DNS scientific activities,

to collect new video/photo material,

to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities,

to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and

to present the DNS concept online.

It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.

The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.

Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
