DNS courses offered at Motol Hospital in Prague are unique:

Greater number of highly skilled DNS instructors involved in teaching and lab sessions: all workshops are conducted in small groups with numerous instructors

Real patients’ demonstration: demonstrations of clinical functional assessment and treatment of neurological patients (MS, stroke, myopathy, spinal lesion, etc.), orthopedic patients (scoliosis, hip and shoulder issues, etc.) as well as pediatric patients (CP, CCD and healthy infants).

 

Specialized topics presented by expert clinicians:

Reflex Stimulation: Marcela Safarova, MPT, PhD and Sarka Spanhelova, MPT: certified Vojta instructors.

Vertigo & balance problems: Ondrej Cakrt, MPT, PhD: specializes in neurological patients with balance issues. Dr. Cakrt has published numerous research articles in prestigious journals on the topic of vertigo. He collaborates with the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, USA.

Cortical function, body awareness: Magdalena Lepsikova, MPT, Certified Feldenkrais practitioner.

Yoga and DNS: Martina Jezkova, MPT: certified Yoga and DNS instructor.

Woman’s health: Martina Jezkova, MPT – specializes in Mojzisova method for patients with incontinence, infertility and pelvic pain.

Athletes and DNS: Petra Valouchova, MPT, PhD, Michal Truc, MPT, Zuzana Suzan, MPT and Jana Vesela, MPT: DNS instructors working with professional athletes in Prof. Kolar's private Center of Movement Medicine (http://www.cpmchodov.cz).

Starting in 2015, courses B and C are typically 3-day courses. However, if you take these courses in Prague, they are 4-day courses. This is because we can cover so many more topics and go into much more detail during presentations and lab time as most of the DNS certified instructors participate in the courses in Prague and we recruit our own patients for numerous live demonstrations. Your trip to Prague will be worthwhile!

Prague courses are international courses! You will meet colleagues from the same or similar profession from different countries and continents! The international networking during and after the course is very inspiring and entertaining!

OPTIONAL TEST

Please note this test is optional ā€“ you need not take this test to take other DNS courses. Students who would like to participate in the educational track towards becoming a certified DNS practitioner (DNSP) can take this test for an additional fee. After completing a payment you will receive an email confirmation after your eligibility has been verified. This email will contain a link to download a file with the test and all necessary instructions. You are expected to return the test to Prague School DNS instructor within 8 weeks of completing the course. Upon successful completion and passing of the test, a Certificate of Achievement will be awarded by Prague School of Rehabilitation.
