Course Objectives:

The basic principles of developmental kinesiology.

Development during the first year of life: stabilization of the spine in the sagittal plane, development of the phasic movements coupled with trunk rotation.

The relationship between development during the first year of life and pathology of the locomotor system in adulthood.

The reflex consequences following central neural programs during the first year of life.

Functional stabilization of the spine.

Correction of poor stereotypical respiration.

New terminology such as functional joint centration and decentration, stabilization, punctum fixum. In addition, posture will be discussed from a developmental point of view.

 

Workshop:

Assessment and treatment procedures based on developmental kinesiology principles to address functional pathology of the locomotor system, vertebrogenic and radicular pain syndromes where the stabilizing system of the spine plays a crucial role.

Treatment of functional pathology of the locomotor system resulting from poor early development.

Prague School registration fee helps

to support DNS scientific activities,

to collect new video/photo material,

to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities,

to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and

to present the DNS concept online.

It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.

The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.

Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
