Course objectives
Review basic principles of developmental kinesiology.
Review relationship between development during the first year of life and dysfunction of the locomotor system in adulthood.
Review basis of human movement: support, stepping forward, the biomechanics of motor function, the verticalization process & functional joint centration in postural development and in sport performance.
Demonstrate and workshop developmental kinesiology principles for mobilization and relaxation musculoskeletal techniques.
Review DNS based self-treatment techniques for patients with back, shoulder and hip pain.
Evaluate and correct poor respiratory patterns for aerobic and strength types of sports performance.
Assess the integrated stabilizing system of the spine during various types of sport performance.
Integrate corrective exercises based on the DNS functional tests and developmental positions in supine, prone, low kneeling, oblique sit, and quadruped global movements.
Demonstrate how DNS corrective exercises can be integrated with other exercise strategies.

Prague School registration fee helps to support DNS scientific activities, to collect new video/photo material, to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities, to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and to present the DNS concept online. |
It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.
The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.
Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
