This course is offered to qualified primary health care providers, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and occupational therapists

 

Course objectives are to discuss:

Basic principles of developmental kinesiology with an emphasis on development during the first year of life.

The relationship between motor pattern development in the first year of life and functional pathology of the loco-motor system in adolescence and adulthood.

Assessment of the integrated stabilizing system of the spine utilizing dynamic (DNS) functional tests.

Mobilization, relaxation and soft tissue techniques for lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine; mobilization of ribs and pelvis; self-treatment techniques according to DNS and Karel Lewit.

Manual techniques to assess and treat "active scar" sites according to Karel Lewit.

Corrective exercises for female patients suffering from stress incontinence, PFM dysfunction and pelvic pain syndrome.

Demonstration of global exercises patterns for women using an exercise flow.

Prague School registration fee helps

to support DNS scientific activities,

to collect new video/photo material,

to develop the DNS handouts and publishing activities,

to present the DNS system at the scientific congresses, and

to present the DNS concept online.

It is not a payment for the course. Please contact the local organizer to secure your enrollment in the course and make sure that the course is not full, prior to paying Prague School registration fee. Once your PS fee is completed, your registration will automatically be sent to the course organizer. After that, payment of course fees can be made with the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to request proof of licensure.

The Prague School registration fee is non-refundable.

Without your online registration and PS fee payment you will not be permitted to attend any DNS course nor will you receive the Prague School Certificate of Attendance; thus you cannot take the DNS test and you will not be allowed to register for later advanced courses.
